Thank you for visit our website. I am a french wood sculptor and work in the south of France. In fact, I am leaving to Bruniquel, an old place (in the middle age, this place was so important for the artisanal works).

I am working in the themes of sacred art, animals family, and especially art brut.

Art brut : tree's stump and mainspring root (the eagle's head was sculpt in the root).

An another example of french "art brut". Here, the tree was die too and was also hollow. The particularity of this work of art reside in the expressive apparence of the void. The vacuum is not a reallity ! For further, we should think that the emptiness is visible, sculpted in the void : the void became a mater... And the mater become an eternal symbol, an eternal source of spirit research.

This is a more classical work of art. This work is not my originel conception, Michel ange is the real author. He did create this work in the marble, and I think that the marble is a unfriendly mater. Jesus was very serious in the original work of Micel ange, and I prefer imagine him with an another apparence. I think that all childrens must be naturally "portraits of joy". If not, that's especially crual for the contemplatives regards. That's my throught, maybe not universal but authentic throuth...

This bird was my second really work in the animals family. Always wings of birds are so oppressive, massive. I prefer proceed differently.

I like the gothical style in ornamentation. I did create this one for pleasure of course, a sort of discovery travel in the Story...

The wood have some strange regards ! It seems like a boar ;-)
